One aspherical element and one extra-low dispersion element suppress spherical and chromatic aberrations. A Nano AR coating reduces flare. A Direct Drive SSM delivers quick, quiet autofocus, and Optical SteadyShot minimises camera shake. A macro switching ring enables close-focus to 0.58 m.
